I had a hysterectomy on 21 January and I was under Dr Chappatte’s care and his team. I cannot thank them enough for their excellent manner and expertise. I owe the whole team my immense gratitude for their immaculate care and warmth. All the staff were so kind and caring. I was so impressed with everybody’s humane approach. A big thank you to Dr Chappatte for his warm and skilful manner and commitment.
My child was sent here by a specialist in feeding but when arrived the Dr looked at the letter that was sent for my child to be recommended a feeding tube due to a on going issue of her having what Pembury has said is bronchitis but have now been told otherwise that minute amounts of milk are going the wrong way but becouse she was also pascribed thickening agents for her milk the Dr refused to fit with a ng tube and teach how to use they have also kept her in hospital and wont let us home but won't tell us why they are keeping us for as a hospital in whole the hygiene is appaling as I have been here for a few days now as the only cleaning that's been done in the room I am in is bins being empted and I don't see the point of having hand gell boxes on the wall and signs up saying infection control if there is nothing in the boxes that have each been checked on several occasions after I reported them empty
While there were so many caring, compassionate and dedicated staff during out stay on the post natal ward the experience was marred by a day shift that consisted of a lack of communication about discharge and a request for feeding advice becoming over blown, stressful discussion leaving us with a distressed baby and parents.
I would ask that staff consider not having conversations about patients directly outside their door and that they listen to what they are actually being told by parents. This was our third baby and our opinions felt ignored.
Our experience was not wholly negative and once the shift changed we were discharged, communicated with and listened to. Also, up until the day shift the overnight care we received was excellent.
Fantastic care for my mother yesterday at a and e and acute frailty unit. Very kind and empathetic Registrar on the frailty unit who was very professional and had a lovely 'bedside' manner. Can't fault the care she received at all
Thank you
My midwife was great during delivery however the midwife I saw in triage could have been better, she left doors open whilst I was changing and tried offering me pain relief I’d said I didn’t want.
Very quick labour so wasn’t here for long. Friendly staff
I gave birth at Tunbridge Wells Hospital on 30th October 2019. The midwives involved in my care were fantastic, unfortunately my experience was ruined by Dr Bibi Choudry who was responsible for stitching me after delivery. I thought she was rude and unprofessional and caused me a great deal of pain. She spoke to the midwife very rudely in my presence and also said loud enough for me to hear that I had a very low pain threshold, even though I had just given birth with no pain relief. I was screaming in pain which she didn’t acknowledge and just told the midwife to hold my legs out of the way. Once she had finished she would have left the room without saying anything if I hadn’t have called her back. I was disgusted by her treatment of me.
I was also left in the delivery room without anything being cleaned for 16 hours after the birth which wasn’t very nice.
Incredible staff who were professional, kind, compassionate, made an effort to tell us their names and helped us deliver our beautiful baby girl safely. We are very grateful
Very impressed by the service that I received from both my sisters, public people. Most of all the-midwives that showed their caring and compassionate care towards the delivery of my baby boy. No words can thank them for their quick action, care and their commitment to their job. They were very friendly and demonstrated all the 6 cs. Cannot thank them enough they deserve medal. Lastly not forgetting the ambulance crew that also came to the birth place which is the car park
Lovely staff; supportive and caring sooo nice
